EDWin List Server

A listserv (or listserver) is a computer application that manages the distribution of mail to all users who have subscribed to the service. A subscriber, who wants to send a message to other subscribers on the list, creates an e-mail message and sends it to the listserver. The listserver distributes it to all other subscribers. This usually happens without human intervention. That is, the listserver is  a computer that has been programmed to manage these e-mail tasks. You interact with the program by sending it commands that are cleverly disguised as e-mail messages.

How to Subscribe

To subscribe to the EDWin List Server  send an E-mail to majordomo@lists.spunge.org. In the body of message, please, type in subscribe edwin. Pay attention to the subject field - it must be blank. If you are sending from any other account besides that to be subscribed in the body of message, type in subscribe edwin MailID ( eg: subscribe edwin joesmith@aol.com ). In a couple of minutes after you send the mail you will get a welcome message.

How to Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe  send e-mail to majordomo@lists.spunge.org and in the body, please, type in unsubscribe edwin. If you are sending from any other account besides that to be unsubscribed in the body of message, type in unsubscribe edwin MailID ( eg: unsubscribe edwin joesmith@aol.com ).
